New Ludington Vice President

LUDINGTON, MICH, April 5, 2006  Northwestern Bank, the largest independent community bank in northern Michigan, has announced the hiring of Barbara Baldwin as vice president for the Ludington area.

Barbara will identify opportunities for all Northwestern Bank products, including deposit accounts, mortgages, consumer and commercial loans, cash management, investment and trust, and employee benefit services. She joins Northwesterns Ludington manager Chris Blalock and mortgage lender Tony Leonard.

Barbara brings more than 14 years of professional experience to her new position. Before joining Northwestern, she served in sales and marketing positions with other Ludington-based companies. Barbara has been active with the Home Builders Association, United Way of Mason County, Habitat for Humanity, and the Chamber of Commerce. She attended the University of Michigan.
