Scot Zimmerman Joins Northwestern Bank
TRAVERSE CITY, MICH., April 29, 2013—Northwestern Bank announced that Scot Zimmerman has joined the bank as vice president, head of commercial lending and chief lending officer. Previously, he served as senior vice president at another financial institution in Traverse City. Scot brings more than 20 years of business and banking experience to Northwestern, including ten years in northern Michigan.
Raised in Traverse City, Scot earned his undergraduate degree from Central Michigan University and his MBA from Pace University in New York. He currently serves on the board of GTI Industries in Traverse City and is the founding chairman of Northwestern Michigan Tooling Coalition. He and his wife Liz are raising their two daughters in Traverse City.
