TRAVERSE CITY, MICH., June 24, 2013—Northwestern Bank has announced managerial changes at several of its area retail offices.
Brenda Majestic has been named manager of Northwestern’s Traverse City downtown office. Brenda has been with the bank since 2002 and served in various roles, most recently as manager of the Acme office. Brenda is a 2007 graduate of the Traverse City Area Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Grand Traverse program. She is an active community member volunteering with the Old Town Playhouse, National Cherry Festival and Acme Business Association. She and her husband, Brian, have four grown children, two of whom are stationed with the Air Force, in California and Hawaii.
Kara Ashworth has been promoted to manager of Northwestern Bank’s Traverse City West Bay office. Kara has been with the bank since 2010 and has over 13 years’ experience in finance. She is a graduate of Michigan State University and holds Series 7, Series 66 and Life and Health Insurance licenses. Kara is an active community member and has volunteered with Junior Achievement and the Jaycees. She lives in Traverse City with her husband and young daughter.
Erin Bratschi has been promoted to manager of Northwestern’s Elk Rapids office. Erin has been with the bank since 2008, most recently serving as assistant manager of the Traverse City Garfield office. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Grand Valley State University. An Elk Rapids area native and graduate of Elk Rapids High School, Erin and her family live on a 40-acre fruit farm in Williamsburg.
Marie Charbonneau is returning as manager of the bank’s Kingsley office. Marie has been with Northwestern since 2005 and previously served as manager of the Kingsley office from 2007 to 2009. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Lake Superior State and an MBA from Davenport University. She lives in the Kingsley area with her husband and children.
