NEW: Automated Call Scam - 3/11/2013

We’ve received notification of another automated call scam:

Some calls are originating from 801-618-0400, while other calls read as “Blocked” on the caller ID.

The automated call is alerting the individual that their debit card is deactivated. The caller is then asked to press “1” to enter the debit card number, PIN and expiration date to reactive the card.

DO NOT DO THIS. This call is not from Northwestern Bank. Northwestern Bank will never ask for your debit card PIN information.

If you think you're a victim of fraud or you're worried that you may have inadvertantly compromised your Northwestern Bank account, it's very important you speak with us immediately. The sooner we know what's happened, the sooner we can begin helping you.

Report fraud by phone: Call (231) 935-4357 or toll-free (866) 935-4357.

Report fraud by e-mail: customerservice@nwbank.com
Note: Never send account numbers, Social Security numbers or other sensitive information via e-mail.
